Come and enjoy the sea life, from watching whales to swimming with the sea lions. The snorkeling is some of the best in the world, with many species seen here only. Our village is right on the Cabo Pulmo Reef, it is a protected National Marine Park. The Sea of Cortez offers great diving, with many fingers of the reef to explore, sunken ships, rich flora and many types of fish. There is snorkeling right off the beach in shallow water, so it is very safe and fun for the children as well. Everyone can enjoy the sea and sand. The casa is equipped with all the toys and gear you will need for kayaking, snorkeling and general enjoyment of the beach. If you enjoy scuba diving, you have the option of booking with our own Dive Masters at Cabo Pulmo Watersports. We offer private and group dives, fishing, whale watch tours, sight seeing tours, snorkeling and hiking!
The village of Cabo Pulmo is located north of Cabo San Lucas about 55 miles. It is about 1½ hours drive north from the airport. Car rentals are available directly across the street from the airport. The drive is pleasant and I will include a map on the website. Stores to shop for groceries are near the airport, or you can go north of the village and shop at Los Barilles, a lovely town with many “gringo” retirees, sailboarders, sport fishermen and adventurers who enjoy the Baja’s rich offering of outdoor fun. The village has a small market that offers main supplies, and restaurants offering great food. The staff at Cabo Pulmo Watersports will also shop for you and have you stocked up when you arrive for a modest fee. Just ask!
The whales are here usually in late winter early spring, February, March and April. The big game fishing is spectacular. Our fishing guides are available to take you out to fish. There are about 30 miles of advanced mountain bike trails, the trails are also used for hiking and running.
The casa has 2 bedrooms with queen beds. The living area has a futon that makes into a double. There are 2 comfy cots to sleep on on the upper deck, and a hammock on the patio. There is room for a tent in the garden if you so desire. There is a fully contained kitchen and fans in all of the rooms. There is one bathroom, with sink and toilet and a private outdoor shower and sink area off the master bedroom that allows you to see the spectacular array of stars. There is also a beach rinse off shower in the garden.
