Cabo Pulmo is located on the Tropic of Cancer. The landscape is semi arid, but there are many flowering trees, fruit trees and ground covers native to the area. There is a large organic gardening presence and plants flourish year round. 

Spring offers magnificent diving, fishing is good year round.  Daytime air temps average between mid 70's and mid 80's and nighttime temps in the high 60's and low 70's. Water temps average from low to high 70's. June is one of the best months of the year, with warm air, warm ocean, great diving and fishing.

Summer is the time for fishing and diving, which are superb. At Cabo Pulmo, daytime temps at the beach are in the mid to high 80's and 90's. Nighttime temps are near 80. Summer is definately very warm and humid, but the Sea of Cortez offers refreshment and fun.

Winter is peak time for wind surfers! Weather systems in the USA create north winds in Cabo Pulmo throughout December, January and  February. Daytime winter temps are usually in the mid 70's  nighttime temps usually in the mid 60's, ocean temps usually in the mid to low 70's, but rarely below 70. Occasionally the winter will be cool, you may need a sweatshirt in the evening especially when the wind is strong.

The fall months are beautiful with great fishing and diving! The ocean temps are still in the mid 80's in October, humidity's returning to normal levels, air temps are mid to high 80's in October, high 70's to mid 80's in November. Evenings are warm and pleasant.

Hurricane season is usually in the beginning of September. The Baja can be impacted by serious storms so plan your vacation with the possibility of winds and rains during this time.
